From Our Help?

The online courses and webinars are built to support people with puppies, reactive dogs, dogs that are struggling in the home and anyone wanting to learn more about their dog and how their mind and behaviour works.

Why Do They Choose Us?

Here’s the most common reasons people use and love our online courses and webinars…

The people that use our platform love their dog dearly but are impacted by their dogs behaviour, causing embarressment, shame, stress and frustration can feel empowered and confident in their handling of the situation

We help people who are concerned their dog is struggling and want to support them not just in their training but in their health as well

People come to use the membership when they’re lacking clarity and confidence in what to do, where to start or what is actually going to work and what isn’t

Maybe they have tried other 'traditional' options but they’re either not working for the dog or not practical to be implemented consistently

If That Sounds Like You...

Who Are We?

Ian Shivers

Ian Shivers is a co-founder of Canine Caregivers alongside Dom.

Ian also owns and operates Bondi Behaviourist, working in person with people and their dogs across Sydney, helping with all manner of training and behavioural matters.

Ian's approach is founded in an understanding that the physical, emotional and mental health of our dogs is at the core of their behaviour. That the relationship between people and their dogs must be built on trust, a sense of safety and support.

For people and their dogs to live their best lives together we must recognise and meet the needs of both ends of the leash.

Ian has worked with dogs since 2007, he
has studied Behaviour Analysis under Dr Susan Friedman, completed the L.E.G.S.® Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation® Professional Course with Kim Brophey and has a diploma in dog behaviour through the British College of Canine Studies. Ian believes that we are always learning through formal study, experience and from others and so is constantly expanding on his experience having developed strong working relationships with trainers, veterinary behaviourists and veterinary practices internationally.
